IPL 2009 after 2 days......

Team Chennai lost to Mumbai Indians by 19 runs, Team Rajasthan Royals bowled out for the lowest IPL score of 58 against an unexpected side in Royal Bangalore Challengers, a rain interrupted match with a total of just under 17 overs and Hyderabad Deccan Chargers beating their opponent Kolkata Knight Righters by 8 wickets with more than 7 overs to spare...... Perhaps not the ideal start for IPL Season 2..... Bowlers have had a say in the final result of the matches in this season, unlike the previous edition where the batting strength of the team determined the final result..... So, teams with more sting in their bowling line up will do much better this time around and the batsmen, who are technical sound like the Rahul Dravids, Sachin Tendulkars.... will have a major role in deciding the fate of their teams. Suprisingly spinners have had a major role to play so far.... Figures like 5/5, 3/15 by spinners have So the days ahead will have lots in store for bowlers especially spinners.....
